Prayers & Best Wishes as Pope Francis Celebrates 12th Anniversary

The Catholic community throughout the Archdiocese of Toronto joins with Catholics worldwide in offering our prayers and best wishes on the 12^th anniversary of Pope Francis’ March 13, 2013 election to the papacy. We are heartened by recent health updates although we are keenly aware the Holy Father is still battling numerous medical challenges.

We pray for the full recovery of Pope Francis and give thanks for his faithful service as shepherd of more than one billion Catholics worldwide. On the day of his election, on the balcony overlooking St. Peter’s Square, he asked all those gathered and watching around the world, “Pray for me.” Holy Father – be assured of our continued prayers for you now and each and every day.
